Topics not discussed but members need to think about are: Woman of the Year and/or should we nominate women for other recognition programs such as Governor General’s Caring Citizen, Lieutenant Governor awards, Women of Distinction, Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year,
Volunteer awards and so on. How can we add our voices and support to our Aboriginal Sisters. They have a lot of issues and we do not have to reinvent the wheel only put our shoulders to it. If you have any other ideas please note them at the bottom of your copy and they will be incorporated into this. Also as ideas come to you throughout the year, please note them as they can be looked at in Sept/06 or in June/06 we
could do a brief prep for fall at our Windup, A big Thank you to all the members/participants at the Sept 27 meeting for the above ideas. I believe we have an exciting year to look forward to. WE were all told at the National AGM
to go home and shake things up and looking at the schedule I think we all shook things up. Doing things differently in some areas will make things interesting and we hope this will attract new members. Respectfully submitted, |
