Sept 2004  -  Membership Drive

• We held our membership drive at Rotary Place 

•  with the possibility of anew members interested in joining things went well

Nov 2004 - Christmas Party

• Held our Christmas party at the River...... Chinese Buffet

•  The Immigrant Women joined forces with us and we had approximately 40 people showed also had a visit from a nerd, got rid of him fast yikes! then Elvis made a quick stop sang a few oldies, got our feet a tappin

•  It would not be Christmas without the big guy himself SANTA who handed out the gifts that were made up by the Immigrant women. we had some fun games going on throughout the evening and ended the night with Christmas Carols.

Dec 2004 - 3rd Annul Silent Auction

• Saw us fundraising, at City Center Mall, the merchants in this town are totally awesome we brought in        $1,100 good job ladies

January 2005 -  Robert Burns

• This is the second year we have given a PR night to the community

•  held a Burns Supper, 47 tickets were sold.

• This is not a fundraiser but rather great media coverage and great food (if you like HAGGIS) :-)

• UPDATE: This event was once again a success apart from most of us having a cold

Upcoming Events

June 2005

• Provincial  A.G.M. will be held in Thompson 1rst weekend in June 2004

• Registration forms will be available shortly

• Plan to attend this proves to be very informative and a chance to network with our Provincial sisters

• UPDATE: Our Provincial was enjoyed by all  see pics in the gallery

• Date & Place T.B.A. shortly

• It has been 18 months since our last fall Fashion Show it is now time for our Spring Show

• Please plan to attend this as this is our big fundraiser all members are asked to assist in this event

• UPDATE: due to lack of ticket sales we cancelled this event

So there you have it a nutshell besides having our monthly meetings and module workshops

Thompson is very visible & active in Thompson and members are constantly, spreading the word

Right now it is July and the next meeting is scheduled for September so I hope you are all having a great summer 

as for your webmaster I am getting ready to move I will be moving to Lorette Manitoba 

I just may be transferring to Selkirk Club
